KPA Unicon continues to invest in digital services as part of Interact business area
PlantSys® is designed to remotely control a plant and support an automated energy plant. Our innovative software ensures real-time view, safe operation and 24/7 support services to ensure production efficiency. The system also allows us to provide 24/7 support services and help plant operators and executives make better decisions. Artificial intelligence-assisted predictive analytics and guidance improve the overall performance of a facility.
“We are taking the next steps in digital services under the guidance of an inspiring and competent leader, who listens to the needs of our customers. That is why we have nominated Joni Räsänen to be responsible for KPA Unicon’s digital services in the future,” says Jukka-Pekka Kovanen, CEO, KPA Unicon.
“I’m really excited to start developing the KPA Unicon’s and customers’ digital path. Like many other sectors, energy production is facing a major challenge. Clean energy is increasingly needed and more efficiently produced,” says Joni Räsänen, Chief Digital Officer, KPA Unicon.
KPA Unicon’s digital service platform PlantSys has been built during the last ten years into a stable and comprehensive solution. There are already almost 100 PlantSys modules in use around the world. Development work continued over the years and new features are released to the customers and partners monthly. The ongoing AI development project brings completely new features to energy companies that have not been seen in such systems before.
“My new role at KPA Unicon gives me the opportunity to look and develop digitalization from a broader perspective. If you want to exchange ideas, feel free to contact us,” continues Joni Räsänen.
