Changes in KPA Unicon Group Management

Huttunen has previously worked as the company’s Chairman of the Board and as the Group’s Chief Strategy Officer since August 2022. Previously, Mr Huttunen has worked in several international companies as Managing Director or in other group management positions and on the boards of companies.

“Developments in the energy market are very interesting right now and KPA Unicon has strong expertise in clean energy technologies and services. I have been able to get to know the company for about six months in my role as Chairman of the Board, which provides a good starting point for a fast change of management roles and reorganization of resources as we start to develop the company to the next stage”, says Matti Huttunen, KPA Unicon

At the same time, the current Managing Director, Jukka-Pekka Kovanen, moves to an operational role in the company. Kovanen is a member of the Management Team and will be actively participating in the company’s activities.

Vesa Silaskivi has been appointed as the Group’s new Chairman of the Board as of 16 January 2023. Silaskivi has a long and solid experience of board work in several organizations and extensive knowledge of business development. Jari Pirkola from Partnera Oyj and Pekka Kovanen from Prounicon Oy will continue as full members of the Board.
