Flue gas condenser is a smart and reliable way to increase boiler efficiency in both process and district heating applications. Condenser can increase the temperature of return water or raw water by up to 60 – 70 °C. This heated water can also be used in other applications such as belt dryers for drying purposes.

Sawmills are a perfect application example as Unicon Condenser is able to dry the wet sawmill residues.

Unicon Condenser is a great way to increase your plant’s district heating capacity – without having to invest in a bigger boiler – while significantly increasing boiler efficiency at the same time.

The payback time for a Unicon Condenser investment is remarkably short because the process recovers excess heat, heat that would normally escape through the stack.

The energy that Unicon Condenser can recover from flue gases ranges from 10-45 % of the boiler power. Condenser can also be equipped with a heat pump, which can further enhance heat recovery.
