We are committed to promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in our operations. Basing our sustainability work on the UN SDG’s enables us to address globally recognized issues, increase our positive impacts and minimize our adverse impacts considering operations and produced solutions. Below you can read about the goals that are material to us and the kinds of actions we are taking to contribute to global development.
SDG 7, Affordable and clean energy
We contribute to this goal by providing and developing solutions that increase the share of renewables, waste, and industrial side streams utilization in energy generation. One objective is to provide solutions to increase energy efficiency by investing in the development of heat recovery and energy storage.
SDG 9, Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Technological development is important in finding sustainable solutions for economic and environmental challenges, such as improving energy efficiency. Hence we promote development and use of clean energy solutions.
SDG 8, Decent work and economic growth
We aim to promote sustainable economic growth by increasing our productivity by investing in technological development. Sustainable economic growth allows the improving of health, safety and well-being of our employees and the supporting of their professional development.
SDG 13, Climate action
We are committed to reducing our own carbon footprint and developing solutions for clean energy production that enables us to help our customers reduce their carbon footprint and do our part for global climate change mitigation.
